Good Morning Honey Dew

September 18, 2008 orchidslover

I love to look at the morning dew. It always gets your feet, your shoes, or you pants all wet. Then you have to let them dry and it can be a pain. If you look at the dew closely though, it rests on the plant-life so peacefully while waiting for the sun to come up.

Little drops of water are one of my favorite things to add to any flower picture I create. They always add that certain touch I was looking for to make my picture look complete. I have always liked the look of it on the grass and plants and the way it feels is kind of cool too. If you run your hand through the grass all of the little water droplets fly everywhere and then underneath, the grass looks so deep because it is wet. The morning dew always reminds me of that scene in Bambie when the little field mouse pulls the water drop off of the grass and splashes it in his face to wash it. It is cute.

I have just always found nature’s little wonders special to look at and when it comes to morning dew, it always comes back, at least when there is not snow on the ground.
